Become a Mentor
Make a lasting impact in a young person’s life by becoming a mentor in the Supports for Student Learning Program (SSLP). As a mentor, you’ll play a key role in supporting Black youth as they navigate their academic journeys, build confidence, and explore their future goals.
Mentors are matched with high school students (Grades 9–12) and provide guidance through monthly one-on-one sessions, encouragement, and real-world insights. Whether you’re a professional, post-secondary student, or community leader, your lived experience and perspective can help shape the next generation of leaders.
