Toronto’s Workforce Funder Collaborative – Call for Proposals
This call for proposals aims to support organizations that want to address deep-rooted systemic workforce development problems. Examples of challenges include testing new hiring models, implementing employer engagement strategies, and improving job quality in sectors like supply chain and warehousing. Funding opportunities include planning grants (up to $50,000) for exploring systems-change questions and implementation grants (up to $250,000) for expanding systems-change work.

PCK IP Diversity Scholarship Program
Applications are now open for this year’s PCK IP Diversity Scholarship Program. The 2024 scholarship is dedicated to Angela Carter, who has built a legacy of advancing equity for youth. It is awarded to Black, African, Caribbean, and Indigenous youth pursuing their post-secondary studies. The scholarship promotes understanding and awareness of the intellectual property system among youth and offers a $2,000 award. Students must be enrolled or accepted in a science or engineering program at an accredited Ontario college or university.
