1. Community Investment Program B3 Fund

Purpose: The Community Investment Program B3 Fund aims to provide equitable access to funding for B3 not-for-profit organizations. This initiative focuses on enhancing organizational capacity to better support the needs of Black communities in Peel.

Application Period: July 17, 2024, to August 21, 2024, at 11:59 P.M.

2. City of Edmonton’s Anti-Racism Grant Program

Purpose: The Anti-Racism Grant Program supports the City of Edmonton’s Anti-Racism Strategy, aiming to combat racism and promote inclusivity within the community. This program funds initiatives that address racially motivated hate, build community capacity and cultural understanding, and promote awareness, training, and education.

Application Period: The Anti-racism Grant Program is currently accepting applications for 2024. Applications are due by Thursday, September 12.

Details: Edmonton City Council has approved a total of $1.395 million in funding for this program, which is available to local community and not-for-profit organizations. The program seeks to drive action against racism through various efforts including research, monitoring, and evaluation of diversity and anti-racism. 3. CN Stronger Communities Fund

Purpose: The CN Stronger Communities Fund contributes millions of dollars annually to organizations and initiatives that promote health and safety, innovation, environmental sustainability, diversity and inclusion, and civic engagement.

Details: The CN sponsorships and donations application portal will be closed for annual maintenance during December. Applications for event sponsorships taking place in December, January, or February must be submitted at least 8 weeks prior to the event date.
