At the Federation of Black Canadians (FBC), we believe that every young person deserves a fair chance at success, regardless of the barriers they face. Too many Black youth in Canada experience systemic challenges—barriers to employment, education gaps, and generational cycles of poverty. In 2021 a study found that 27% of Black Canadians children were living in poverty compared to 14% among other children. Through our Employment Development pillar, we are working to change that. FBC Celebrates New Role as Organizational Mentor for Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Youth Opportunity Fund
The Ontario Trillium Foundation has proudly accepted FBC as an organizational mentor for grassroots groups applying for the Youth Opportunity Fund.
