The City of Toronto, through its ConnectTO program, is on a mission to bridge the digital divide and enhance free public Wi-Fi access for all Toronto residents and visitors. Currently, the city offers free Wi-Fi at over 100 locations. To further this initiative, the City is developing an expanded Wi-Fi strategy, and your input is crucial.  The Federation of Black Canadians (FBC) has partnered with this initiative to make sure Black Torontonians have a chance to be heard.

Join the Conversation: Expanded Free Public Wi-Fi Strategy Survey

As part of this effort, the City has launched an Expanded Free Public Wi-Fi Strategy Survey. This survey is designed to gather feedback from the community to shape the future of Wi-Fi availability in Toronto. Your responses will help identify key opportunities and priorities to implement this strategy effectively.

Why Participate?

  • Have Your Say: Influence how Toronto develops its Wi-Fi infrastructure.
  • Ensure Equity: Help bridge the digital divide, ensuring all Torontonians have access to reliable, high-speed internet.
  • Confidentiality: This is an anonymous survey, and all collected data will be reported in aggregate form.

The survey is open until June 21, 2024. Your participation will provide invaluable insights into the challenges faced by residents and the potential improvements needed for internet access across the city.
