Introducing Trusteeship and Grantwriting Consultations for Premium Black Builders

Jun 6, 2024

FBC is launching a new service for Premium Black Builders- Trusteeship and grantwriting consultations for Grassroots organizations. Larger grants require the grassroots organization to have a trustee to help manage the funds and help with reporting. We will also be offering grant-writing consultations for premium black builders who need help with their grant applications.

Benefits of having a trustee:

3. Increased Credibility and Trust:

  • Public Confidence: Having a reputable and diverse board of trustees can enhance the organization’s credibility and trustworthiness in the eyes of donors, stakeholders, and the public.

4. Financial Stewardship: Trustees oversee the organization’s financial health, ensuring proper budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.

5. Advocacy and Representation:

  • Championing the Cause: Trustees can act as advocates for the organization’s mission, promoting its goals and raising awareness in the broader community.
  • Policy Influence: Trustees can leverage their influence to advocate for policy changes and mobilize support for the organization’s causes.

6. Operational Efficiency:

  • Performance Monitoring: Trustees monitor organizational performance against strategic goals and objectives, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
