This webinar will help you develop effective techniques for answering key grant questions. Participants will learn how to articulate their program’s impact and connect it to funder priorities through the use of logic models. This session builds on the success of our previous grant writing workshop and aims to equip attendees with actionable strategies to strengthen their grant proposals, increasing their likelihood of being approved.

  • Describing Programs and Activities: Strategies to clearly and persuasively describe your program, activities, and goals in grant responses.
  • Logic Models: Techniques for developing and communicating and constructing logic models to align with funder expectations.
  • Crafting Compelling Responses: Tips for making grant responses impactful and persuasive to increase the likelihood of funding success.

  1. Welcome and Recap
    • Brief recap of our previous grant writing workshop by Christopher Thompson and introduction of today’s topic.
  2. Introduction to Logic Models and Theories of Change
    • Explanation of these tools and their role in enhancing grant responses.
  3. Interactive Exercise
    • Hands-on activity where participants apply the concepts to a fictional funding scenario, reinforcing understanding through practice.
  4. Q&A Session
    • Open forum for attendees to ask questions and get specific advice on their projects.
