Every day, Black creators are using their voices, platforms, and creativity to celebrate culture, challenge perspectives, amplify underrepresented voices, and build stronger communities.

The Impact Creator Award, presented at the 2026 Impact Gala, recognizes a content creator who is using their influence to celebrate Black excellence, create opportunities, inspire others, and drive meaningful change both online and within their community.

Do You Know a Creator Who Is Making an Impact?

We’re looking for creators who go beyond creating great content. The ideal nominee is someone who uses their platform with purpose and consistently contributes to a more connected, empowered, and inclusive community.

Nominees should demonstrate the following:

• Celebrating Black excellence and culture: Consistently creates content that celebrates Black excellence, culture, identity, and community.
• Creating opportunities and amplifying voices: Uses their influence to create opportunities, uplift Black and underrepresented voices, or spark meaningful conversations.
• Integrity and innovation: Demonstrates integrity, creativity, innovation, and a positive online presence.
• Inspiring others: Makes an impact through their work both online and within their community.

How the Selection Process Works

Step 1: Nominate a Creator
Submit your nomination by Sunday, August 24, 2026.

Step 2: Finalists Selected
An Impact Creator Award committee will review the nominations and select the finalists based on the award criteria.

Step 3: Public Voting
Once the finalists are announced, the general public will have one week to vote for the creator they believe should receive the 2026 Impact Creator Award.

Step 4: Celebrate the Winner
The winner will be recognized at the 2026 Impact Gala, celebrating the individuals and organizations making a meaningful impact in our communities.
