Gina Skočaj serves as the Associate of Community Engagement at Wealthsimple Foundation, bringing over four years of dedicated experience in various direct service roles. Her work ranges from coordinating and facilitating a variety of programming including financial wellness workshops, to providing personalized tax support. While Gina is a CVITP (Community Volunteer Income Tax Program) tax volunteer, it’s important to note that she is not a registered accountant or financial planner. Therefore, Gina does not hold certifications to offer financial advice. Her focus lies in clarifying the process of independent tax filing, with a goal to empower individuals with the knowledge and confidence needed to file their taxes independently in the future. With over two years of experience in assisting community members with simple tax solutions, Gina is passionate about financial education more accessible and understandable for everyone.
